They’re finally here: Abacus Court Rules for Amicus Attorney!

It's official – Abacus Court Rules have been added to Amicus Attorney, and we couldn't be happier to share the inner workings with you!

Before you dive into this productivity-boosting tool, there are a couple of things you need to know: 

First, a court rule defines a series of standard tasks (with individual deadlines) for a particular legal action in federal, state, or county courts. Using the Abacus Court Rules for Amicus Attorney, you can schedule a single trigger event and Amicus automatically schedules the other related events in the series. 

Second, Abacus Court Rules make sure that all deadlines and dates are accurately calculated. If a date or event changes (for example, a court appearance was pushed back a week) it will automatically recalculate the remainder of the dates. In other words, Abacus Court Rules ensure that no steps in executing a client matter file are missed.

Finally, any user can edit and delete events and the related events will be automatically recalculated. 

To use Abacus Court Rules for Amicus Attorney, you have to license the Court Rules you want and then enable and configure the Court Rules feature in Amicus Attorney.
