OVERVIEW

Linked Events

It is often useful to link events (appointments or to do's) that are related to each other. If you change the date of the master event, the dates of the dependent events change in your calendar accordingly. For example, you can set up a dependent to do (Prepare mortgage) to be scheduled 31 days before a master event (Closing). If the closing date subsequently changes, the "prepare mortgage reminder" will move accordingly in your calendar, without your intervention.

You can link any number of dependent events to a single master event. Or you can create a chain of events, where A is dependent on B which is dependent on C, etc. The possibilities are endless. The benefits are more so - you can be sure you schedule all related events correctly, and everything will be moved for you if dates start to change.
