N30 (Newly Updated)—Daylight Savings Time: Beginning in 2007, Daylight Savings Time in the United
States and Canada is starting three weeks earlier (on March 11th, the second
Sunday in March) and ending one week later (on November 4th, the first Sunday
in November). Unless certain Microsoft updates are applied to your computers,
it is possible that the time zone settings for your computer's system clock
may be incorrect during these periods. Several Microsoft products are affected,
including Windows, Exchange Server, and Outlook. Note that Microsoft has made
additional Daylight Savings Time and time zone changes since those released
in January 2007. For full information, including directions to Knowledge Base
articles, recommended preparation, and general sequence of update actions,
see the Microsoft Daylight Saving Time Help and Support Center, at http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cp_dst.
Provided you apply the applicable Windows updates to
all your computers, Amicus products are not directly affected by this change.
However, those who use Amicus third-party integrations that affect your
Calendar scheduling (like Outlook, Palm and other mobile devices) should ensure
that they apply any patches or updates made available by those third-party
vendors and follow their recommendations for avoiding appointment
inconsistencies.
Remember to keep your Amicus Server and all
Workstation date/time settings in sync. Failure to do so may affect the
accuracy of system-generated items, including notifications.
It is strongly recommended that you check your
Amicus appointments during the adjustment periods to confirm that they are
correctly scheduled.
