How to use this utility

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

Important Download Tips:

• Choose a temporary location on your hard drive.
• Before you click on the download link, make sure that it is appropriate to your version and edition of Amicus Attorney.
• If you experience any errors during the extraction process, do not attempt to install. The file may have become corrupted during download. Delete the downloaded file from your machine and download the update again.
• From your web browser on a computer on your network, click the link at the bottom of this page to download the file.

Installing the Utility:

1. Browse for the location where you stored the downloaded utility file (AcctChk511ADV.zip).
2. Double-click this file, and then click Finish. This will extract the necessary files (AADB32.DLL, AmicusAccntChecker.EXE, and AmicusAcctChecker.PDF) to a temporary folder, replacing any existing files if necessary.
3. At the Amicus Attorney workstation where you wish to run the utility, exit Amicus Attorney and then copy the extracted files to the \AMICUS50 folder, replacing any prior versions.
   TIP: Copy these files to the computer of a user with wide access to Amicus Files so that they may conveniently open any problem Files for viewing and/or editing directly from the utility.
