If
you intend to update your
secondary office to Amicus
Attorney version 5.1.1 you
must ensure that your Primary
Office is also updated to
the same version.
IMPORTANT:
1. You must have Microsoft Internet
Explorer 5.0 or later installed
on your workstation and server before
installing Amicus Attorney 5.1.1.
2. If your operating system is Windows
NT, you must have Windows NT version
4 with service pack 6 or higher
before installing Amicus Assembly 1.1.
Important
Download Tips:
Choose a temporary location on your
hard drive. Do not download directly
into your existing Amicus Attorney folder.
Do
not change the name of the download
file.
Before
you click on the download link, make
sure that it is appropriate to your
version and edition of Amicus Attorney.
If
you experience any errors during the
extraction process, do not attempt to
install. The file may have become corrupted
during download. Delete the downloaded
file from your machine and download
the update again.
For
Netscape users, your browser will
prompt you with a "Save As" dialog.
Click OK to begin the download.
For
Internet Explorer users, select
a location on your hard drive to store
the file. Click OK to begin the download.
Installing
Your Secondary Office:
From
the computer at your secondary location,
open Windows Explorer and browse for
the location where you stored the Amicus
Attorney version 5.1.1 update file (AW511SE2.EXE)
Double-click
on the file, AW511SE2.EXE and then click
"Finish".
This
will extract the necessary files into
a temporary folder.
Click
OK to the dialog that reads "Extraction
complete." The Setup program will automatically
begin.
Select
the option Secondary Office, and if
necessary select the "Include Amicus
Assembly Workstation Install" checkbox

the onscreen instructions
