Amicus Attorney 2008 Premium Edition SP1 Reports Patch

This Patch contains improved Firm and Firm Member reports that resolve various issues in formatting, performance, and/or content.

The updated reports provided are:

• All Firm and Firm Member Calendar reports
• All Firm and Firm Member People reports
• 3 Firm Member Files reports: My File Index - Specified Status, My File Summary - Specified Status, and My Resp Lawyer File Assignment Index - Specified Status

DOWNLOADING & UPDATING

Important Download Tips:

• Choose a temporary location on your hard drive. Do not download directly into your existing Amicus Attorney folder.
• Do not change the name of the download file.
• Before you click on the download link, make sure that it is appropriate to your version and edition of Amicus Attorney.
• If you experience any errors during the extraction process, do not attempt to install. The file may have become corrupted during download. Delete the downloaded file from your machine and download the update again.
• The instructions assume that your Amicus Attorney has been installed to its default folders. If you have installed the program to a different location, then use that location in the following instructions.

INSTALLING THE PATCH:

Updating the Amicus Attorney Application Server:

1. Click the link below and download the file CrystalReportsTemplates.ZIP.
2. Double-click the file and extract its contents to a temporary location, preserving the folder structure. The extracted files will reside in subfolders under a CrystalReportsTemplates folder.
3. Back up any customized versions of the standard reports listed above if the firm has not renamed the file or moved it to a new subfolder.
4. Copy the extracted CrystalReportsTemplates folder to the \Amicus\Amicus Attorney PE Server folder on the Amicus Application Server, replacing the existing versions of files. (Do not copy the extracted folder directly into the CrystalReportsTemplates folder.)

Updating Offline Workstations:

1. Copy the extracted CrystalReportsTemplates folder to the \Amicus\Amicus Attorney PE Workstation\Offline folder on the Workstation, replacing the existing versions of files. (Do not copy the extracted folder directly into the CrystalReportsTemplates folder.)
