Satisfaction Guarantee and Return Policy*

We are pleased to provide you with our guarantee of satisfaction on all new products manufactured by Gavel & Gown Software Inc. If the software is not satisfactory for any reason whatsoever, it may be returned for a refund within 30 days of shipment, or (if applicable) prior to entry of a license validation code, whichever comes first, less shipping, handling, and restocking charges. Please note that upgrades, manuals, and licensed products can not be returned.

In providing this guarantee, we rely upon the legal profession's respect for copyrights and intellectual property. We also require your reasons for returning the software. We are committed to providing the highest possible quality in our products, and if there is anything wrong or anything that could be improved upon, we need to know about it.

Apart from the limited warranty set out in the License Agreement, Gavel & Gown Software disclaims all other warranties, expressed or implied, concerning the software. The software and related materials are provided "as is" without warranty or condition of any kind, including but not limited to the implied warranties or conditions of merchantable quality and fitness for a particular use. Gavel & Gown Software does not warrant that the software will meet your requirements or that its operation will be error free. In no event shall Gavel & Gown Software be liable to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages, whether foreseeable or not, even if advised of the possibility thereof. This limitation and exclusion applies irrespective of the cause of action, including but not limited to breach of contract, negligence, strict liability, tort or any other legal theory and shall survive a fundamental breach. To return a product purchased from and developed by Gavel & Gown Software via e-commerce within the last 30 days:

A sales representative will approve the return providing it is in accordance with the satisfaction guarantee and will then assign a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a return address.

Please note that you are responsible for the mailing cost. We are not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise. Upon receiving the return, the refund process takes three weeks. You will be refunded by the same method as your payment less a $25.00 restocking charge. Shipping charges are not refunded.

Products purchased from sources other than e-commerce (e.g., local resellers, mail order) must be returned to the source from which they were purchased and are subject to the return policies of that source.

* We are only able to offer this guarantee to US and Canadian customers. This policy is valid only for Amicus Attorney 7 - Premium Edition, Amicus Attorney 2008 - Small Firm Edition, and Amicus Accounting and does not include upgrade orders).
