Notes

The Notes module in Amicus Mobile lets you view all of today's notes plus other outstanding unassociated notes. With Amicus Mobile, you can also open the relevant Client File and then create a note right from there. Just like Amicus Attorney back at the office, your Amicus Mobile allows you to create notes at any time and associate them to a file or contact, or leave them unassigned. Record a note while on the road and it automatically appears in Amicus Attorney back at the office.

  • On the home page, tap or click the notes icon.
  • Your recent unassociated notes and all today's notes are listed by date and time, the most recent first.
  • To view the details of a note, tap or click it in the list.
  • To create a new note, tap or click New or Menu > New and enter the text of you note.
  • To assign the new note to a file or contact, tap or click Files or Contacts. In the select list, select one and tap or click Select.
  • Repeat to assign to more files or contacts.
  • The new note would then appear back in your Notes module in Amicus Attorney where you can convert it to another record type or save it to the appropriate file, contact, event, and even library page.
  • To delete a note, select it in the list and tap or click Menu > Delete.

NOTE: Leave the To (Firm Member) field blank unless you want to send the Note as a Sticky.
