Gavel & Gown Software Inc. is a Finalist for ISV Innovation at the Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards
Microsoft Partners Program IMPACT Awards honour Microsoft’s top resellers and solution providers in Canada

Toronto, ON (October 27, 2005) - Gavel & Gown Software Inc. announced that it has been selected as a finalist for the ISV Innovation Award at the 2005 Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards. The third annual IMPACT awards recognize excellence across the large and diverse community of Canadian resellers and solution providers. Hundreds of entries were submitted by technology partners from across Canada. The technology partners were honoured at a gala event in Toronto on October 20, 2005.

“Since we launched our technology partner Impact Awards, three years ago in Canada, we have seen an increase in the number and quality of entries, year after year,” said Lora Gernon, Director, Partner Sales Group, Microsoft Canada. “The 2005 finalists are the top technology partners in Canada in their category and are a true reflection of what we look for in the technology partner community – technology partners that have delivered innovative technology solutions and service excellence that have made a positive impact on their customers.”

Gavel & Gown Software Inc. was chosen as a finalist for the ISV Innovation Award for Amicus Attorney, the world’s most widely used practice management software for legal professionals.

“We are extremely honoured to receive this recognition for the next generation of our flagship product Amicus Attorney.” commented Ron Collins, President of Gavel & Gown Software. "To have been selected from among so many qualified software developers is a testament to all of the hard work and attention to detail that has gone into the product since 1992. Amicus Attorney is famous for its ease of use but the underlying technology is very sophisticated.”

Gavel & Gown Software, along with other technology partner winners and finalists in each of the award categories, was honoured at a gala event in Toronto on October 20, 2005.
