Keeping a Diary in the Calendar

The Calendar contains a Diary page in which you can type any general notes on the day you are currently viewing. A day that contains Diary information appears with an asterisk (*) beside the date in the upper-right corner of its Calendar page.

To view the Calendar Diary page:

  1. Click the Calendar button in the Office window or Toolbar or you can open the Amicus menu and choose Calendar
  2. Choose Diary from the drop-down list in the middle of the left page
  3. Type additional information if necessary (if you wish, insert a time stamp)

Inserting a Time Stamp
Very often, you need to add a time stamp to the description or notes on a File, Contact, Calendar day, Event, Phone Call, Phone Message, Sticky, or document attached to a File. With a single, convenient keystroke, you can insert your initials, the date, and the time (for example, HG 15 Dec 2006 2:47PM) into any text box in Amicus Attorney.

There are 3 simply ways to insert a time stamp:

  1. In the text box, position the insertion point ( | ) where you would like to place the time stamp and press Control-T
  2. Right-click and choose Insert Time Stamp from the list that appears
  3. Open the Edit menu and choose Insert Time Stamp

To print the Diary information:

Open the File menu and choose Print Pad.
